lyrics
I lost my head, and then I left your open hand. Now, I’m dying to get back to it. I’m wrought with fear of being able to hurt someone so much. What comes after this?
I threw stones again, just to see where they’d land.
I talked her ear off about nothing, and how everyone is different. That’s what makes us exactly the same. It’s a nice literary device to explain how none of this works all of the time. And I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been up there. But never by myself.
I threw stones again, just to see where they’d land.
I threw stones again, but never by myself

The high quality of music production, catchy melodies, and of course relating to the Midwestern sensibilities make this album a joy. First year of college was at UW Eau Claire, so of course there is that.... The Arches

Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long. RIP, Phil PaintedDogs
Rising Philadelphia band balance oversized pop punk hooks with vivid, intimate lyrics, presenting a raw, honest vision of guitar music. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 30, 2022
More feel-good indie from Brooklyn's A Great Big Pile of Leaves, all bristling guitar tones and expansive choruses. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 18, 2021
